Another big Powerball drawing concluded on Monday with no jackpot winner, so tonight’s midweek drawing offers an even bigger prize. The jackpot for Aug. 17 is estimated at $66 million. If a winner tonight chooses to take the prize in a single lump sum payment, the cash value is $38.3 million before withholding.
Despite having no jackpot winner, one player did hit a major prize on Monday. One ticket sold in North Carolina matched the first five white balls, but not the red Powerball. That ticket is worth $1 million.

First Millionaire of the Year promo starts August 30
Beginning Aug. 30, PA Lottery players can enter a special drawing for a chance to become a finalist in Powerball’s First Millionaire of the Year promotion.
