Twos and zeroes appear to be the theme for the Powerball jackpot on Saturday, March 20 at an estimated $200 million. However, a potential winner could choose a $136.5 million one-time cash payout.

Also, the luck of the Irish helped three tickets win Powerball’s second-place prize for the last drawing on St. Patrick’s Day.

Three Match 5 Winners from NY, MI, and SC

Just because no one hit the big jackpot for the last drawing does not mean that there weren’t any big winners. In fact, nationwide, three lottery tickets won $1 million on St. Patrick’s Day.

Just as a reminder, the winning numbers were 34 – 38 – 42 – 61 – 62 with a red Powerball of 19. These winning tickets from NY, MI and SC matched all five white balls but missed matching the Powerball number to win the whole jackpot.

  • New York: The winning ticket was sold at a Speedway gas station located on 1810 Maple Rd. in Amherst.
  • South Carolina: Continuing the theme, the lucky ticket was sold at another Speedway gas station on 421 William Hilton Pkwy. in Hilton Head.
  • Michigan: Last but not least, the winner in the Wolverine State purchased the lottery ticket online through the MI Lottery.
