Playtech is starting to make its presence felt in the Pennsylvania gaming industry. The game manufacturer announced a partnership to provide titles to Boyd Interactive Gaming’s Stardust Casino PA in the Keystone State.
Playtech has a wide variety of games, ranging from slots to live dealer options. Stardust is going to be able to build out a larger slot library because of the new deal.
Playtech to provide gaming content for Stardust Pennsylvania online casino
Stardust may not be the top operator that comes to mind when thinking about PA online casinos. However, this could change with the latest partnership between the platform and Playtech.
According to a press release, Playtech is going to add all three categories of casino games to Stardust, which include PA slots, table games and live dealer titles. Some of Playtech’s most popular options include:
- Age of the Gods
- Gold Rush: Cash Collect
- Adventures Beyond Wonderland
Marcus Yoder, Chief Commercial Officer at Playtech, said in the release:
“By introducing the exciting Stardust online casinos, Boyd Gaming expanded its long-standing tradition of surpassing expectations and delivering unique entertainment experiences into the online space. The team at Playtech is thrilled to collaborate with the Boyd team and we are confident that the joining of our forces will bring mutual success to both companies.”
Playtech is well-equipped to offer countless games to online casino operators. The game manufacturer has more than 600 slot games to offer, and it just opened a brand new live dealer studio in the Keystone State. According to Playtech’s website, the company supplies the following live dealer titles:
- Prestige Roulette Lite
- Speed Roulette
- Baccarat 7 Seat
- Baccarat Squeeze
- VIP Baccarat
- Mini Baccarat
- Ultimate Blackjack
- Casino Hold’em
Pennsylvania online casino players benefit the most from Playtech’s emergence into the state.

Stardust aims to be a more formidable PA online casino
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) does not break down revenue by operator, so it’s difficult to see exactly how much revenue Stardust generates. However, in partnership with Valley Forge Casino, FanDuel Casino PA and Stardust produced $51 million in monthly revenue last month, an all-time high.
The license had not exceeded $40 million in revenue before September. Since that month, FanDuel and Stardust have recorded the following outputs:
- September: $42.4 million
- October: $43.8 million
- November: $51 million
FanDuel likely generates the bulk of the revenue. But it does seem as if Stardust is making a push to generate more of its own.
The operator has the smallest slot library of any operator in the Keystone State, offering just 25 slots. The state currently includes 8,500 slots available across 21 different platforms for players.
While Stardust isn’t likely to start producing hundreds of slots off the bat, it can start a slow build and materialize into a strong online casino in the state.
As Pennsylvania broke another record for online casino revenue last month, generating $191.9 million, the Keystone State has proven that the market continues to grow.
There’s no reason why Stardust can’t be a part of that within the Pennsylvania market.
