NFL Training Camp 2021 begins for almost every NFL team on July 27. But the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Dallas Cowboys start on July 21 since they open the NFL preseason on Aug. 5.

Training camp and the (reduced-by-one-game) NFL-preseason gives bettors a first real look at the 2021 crop of rookies. Right after the first round of the NFL Draft, Pennsylvania online sportsbooks posted Offensive and Defensive Rookie of the Year odds.

It’s no surprise Jacksonville Jaguars No. 1 draft pick Trevor Lawrence is the favorite for Offensive ROY. However, after Lawrence, rookie odds at sports betting apps vary especially when it comes to the Steelers’ first round pick Najee Harris.

In the first round with the 24th pick, the Steelers selected Alabama running back Harris who was their projected pick in many mock drafts. The Steelers first four picks in the 2021 all play offense. The emphasis on offense was likely due to the fact that 39-year-old quarterback Ben Roethlisberger who is nearing the end of his career.
