Record-holding World Series of Poker star Phil Hellmuth will lend his name to the BetRivers brand, which recently launched its first online poker site in Pennsylvania.
The poker champion has inked a deal with Rush Street Interactive as a brand ambassador for BetRivers, and we can expect that partnership to focus on Pennsylvania online poker, at least until BetRivers Poker launches in other markets. He will also promote the BetRivers sportsbook and BetRivers online casino brands nationwide, though his appeal is likely to be primarily with poker players.
Hellmuth one of poker’s most recognizable stars
One of Hellmuth’s first duties for BetRivers will be to attend Super Bowl LIX in February in New Orleans with BetRivers VIP customers.
When you’re known as “The Poker Brat,” you must be doing something correct. Hellmuth is one of the most recognizable and accomplished figures in the world of poker. The Wisconsin native has carved out a legendary career, earning a record-tying 17 World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets.
Richard Schwartz, CEO of Rush Street Interactive, commented on the new partnership in a press release.
“Phil’s unmatched passion, dynamic personality, and flair for entertainment make him the perfect ambassador as we continue to expand our offerings and elevate player experiences across our platforms. His expanded role in the BetRivers Network, including increased appearances on Poker Night in America, and his contributions to promoting our new online poker platform, will bring unparalleled excitement to our players.”
Hellmuth is famous for his exceptional skills in no-limit Texas Hold’em. He won the WSOP Main Event in 1989, and the WSOP Europe Main Event in 2012. Hellmuth’s colorful personality, marked by his dramatic outbursts and sharp wit, has made him a polarizing yet captivating figure in the poker world. He’s a bestselling author and speaker, contributing to the game’s growth and inspiring players worldwide.
