Who’s got next?
It seems we’re slowly getting to the other side. After spending the spring watching all our beloved sports retreat to the sidelines, summer is slowly bringing them all back.
Last week, the PGA made its return with the Charles Schwab Classic at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas. According to a press release by Rush Street Interactive, the event featured the largest betting handle of any major golf tournament in the history of PlaySugarHouse.com and BetRivers online PA.
Long shot Daniel Berger won in a playoff, and now the action shifts to the RBC Heritage Open on Thursday at Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
But before that tees off, English Premier League soccer will make its return Wednesday. And DraftKings Sportsbook is rolling out some special offers to enhance the action.
Let’s take a quick look at some of this week’s opportunities for sports betting.
DraftKings offering bonus live bet on the English Premier League
The English Premier League returns to the pitch on Wednesday, and DraftKings is offering a few promotions to make everything better. Any user who opts in and places at least $10 in a live bet will earn a bonus $10 live bet. Users can qualify once per day for the promotion, which runs from June 17 – June 20. Bets require minimum odds of -250 or longer, and live bets expire at 11:59 p.m. each day.
Another promotion features a bonus for wagers on the first goal scorer. DraftKings users who bet on a first goal scorer for selected EPL games can get $10 toward a bonus bet for each goal their chosen team scores. First goal bets must total at least $20 on one of the following games:
- Manchester City vs. Arsenal — June 17
- Tottenham vs. Manchester United — June 19
- Everton vs. Liverpool — June 21
One qualifying bet per user per game will earn the $10 toward a bonus bet for each goal your team scores.
FanDuel is also offering a number of daily fantasy contests for the EPL’s return.

McIlroy is the betting favorite again at this week’s PGA event
Rory McIlroy entered last week’s tournament as the betting favorite and ended up finishing in a tie for 32nd place. However, McIlroy is the favorite again for the RBC Heritage Open this week.
BetRivers/PlaySugarHouse have McIlroy as +1100 to win, followed closely by Bryson DeChambeau (+1200) and Justin Thomas (+1400). The odds are slightly different at FanDuel, FOX Bet and DraftKings, so bettors would be wise to shop around.
BetRivers/PlaySugarHouse have the rest of the top 20 as follows:
- Jon Rahm: +1600
- Xander Schauffele: +1800
- Collin Morikawa: +2500
- Patrick Reed: +2500
- Webb Simpson: +2800
- Daniel Berger: +3300
- Tyrrell Hatton: +3300
- Matt Kuchar: +3300
- Hideki Matsuyama: +3300
- Justin Rose: +3300

Most sports betting apps are also offering a number of wagers beyond the winner, with top 5 and top 10 betting options, as well as golfers grouped in a number of tiers.
Daily fantasy players can also find a wealth of contests at FanDuel and DraftKings, where the PGA Millionaire Maker returns again with a $20 entry fee and a top prize of a million dollars.
DraftKings boosting your golf profits
DraftKings Sportsbook PA is also offering bet boosts for the contest. There are two live bet boosts available, which boost winnings by 30%. The promo applies to one live bet in each of the first two rounds of play (June 18–19).

Soccer and golf betting should dominate the month of June
With the biggest sports still sidelined, soccer and golf will step to the forefront this month. In the soccer world, bettors can choose from Germany’s Bundesliga, Spain’s La Liga and now England’s Premier League. The PGA Tour will be hosting weekly tournaments through the remainder of the summer.
Meanwhile, the NBA and Major League Baseball are still at least a month away from any games. They have next.
But bettors don’t need to wait for them.
Soccer and golf are live now.
