- Lee Ann Womack, recipient of six Country Music Association Awards, five Academy of Country Music Awards, and a Grammy, will perform at 8 p.m. Aug. 18. Her albums include “I Hope You Dance” and “The Way I’m Livin’.” Tickets are $39 to $49.

$1 million Zoomball
Prizes ranging from $100 in slot free play to $1 million in cash will be the push of a button away for dozens of players on Aug. 24. From noon to 8 p.m. that day, five Mount Airy players will be picked every half-hour to play Zoomball, a machine that shoots plastic balls into a tube. It’s similar to the devices many lotteries use to pick the winning numbers. Corks & Kegs is one of Western Pennsylvania’s largest craft beer events. The annual cruise-in features scores of classic cars, live music, and food as well. Cork & Kegs will be on Aug. 25 and 26. The cruise-in will be Aug. 26. Admission to either event is free.
- Cork & Kegs: In addition to beer, wine, and food, the festival on the Meadows racetrack apron has booths for artworks, crafts, and other local vendors. Prices for beer samples hadn’t been set at the time of this writing, but 2017 prices were $10 for five samples, including a cup. Individual samples were $2 each. The Marshall Lowry Band will perform from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, followed by the Davisson Brothers from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
- Ninth Annual Classic Car Cruise-in: Free registration of classic cars begins at 9:30 a.m. Aug. 26, with dash plaques given to the first 100 vehicles. Events begin at 11 a.m., with a variety of vendors, food trucks, and other attractions. Jason Kendall Band will perform at 11:30 a.m., with Jaggerz, who scored a hit with “The Rapper” in 1970, at 4 p.m.

Chicken Tac Toe
Those who want to test their luck – or pluck or cluck – have a chance to challenge a live chicken to a game of tic-tac-toe. The game is available from noon to 8 p.m. Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursday and from noon to 10 p.m. Saturdays. To be eligible, players must earn 50 tier points each promotion and then claim their ticket from a kiosk. Those who beat the chicken can win a cash prize of up to $1,000.
Table Games Hot Seat
