Online casinos in Pennsylvania are continuing to outpace themselves. The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) reported operators generated $191.9 million in November online casino revenue, setting a new US record. This mark comes after setting an all-time record in September of $187.3 million, and then coming close again with $186.9 million in October.
This is the first time PA online casinos have eclipsed the $190 million revenue threshold. Operators are showing that $190 million in monthly revenue is achievable, with a $200 million month possible sooner rather than later.
PlayPennsylvania Managing Editor, Chris Imperiale, said:
“Pennsylvania online casinos refuse to slow down. In November, they set another all-time, all-market US record with nearly $192 million in gross revenue. This is the first time PA online casinos have generated more than $190 million in earnings in a single month. However, it’s the third straight report with revenue exceeding $186 million. November’s performance is a 2.7% increase from the prior month and around a 23% jump year over year. It beat out the state’s previous record from September by about $4.6 million. November also pushed table games revenue for this year beyond $430 million, already beating last year’s mark of $394 million. It’s evident the PA online casino market is tops in the US and should continue to roll going forward.”

Quick analysis from November PA online casino figures
- While this is a rather easy analysis, PA online casinos broke a US revenue record by generating north of $190 million in November earnings. Pennsylvania foreshadowed a month like this by topping $185 million in the previous two months. It appears the fall months are going to continue to churn out record-breaking numbers for the state. As the sports and gaming calendar winds down, it’ll be interesting to see if operators can keep up the same pace. With the addition of new platforms in 2024, it’s certainly possible that $190 and upward of $200 million could be the new monthly norm for the Keystone State.
- Pennsylvania exceeded $400 million in YTD revenue for table games. November’s total of $46.4 million put the state at $432.2 million in yearly profits, eclipsing 2022’s figure of $394.4 million. Live dealer games have been a welcome addition to the Keystone State, accounting for more than 50% of online table games revenue, according to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board’s (PGCB) annual report. Live dealer operators have launched several new titles, including multiple game shows.
- Online casino revenue is expected to hit more than $2 billion in yearly revenue. Pennsylvania currently sits on the cusp at $1.9 billion, and another month of $190 million in December would put the state at $2.09 billion. The Keystone State is starting to set a new standard for online casino revenue. There is no reason to expect much less in December.
