Philadelphia Eagles 2021 win total and playoff prediction.

Early money at Pennsylvania online sportsbooks shows that bettors believe the Philadelphia Eagles will rebound from an awful 4-11-1 season. It might seem like a low bar, but the information released by Pennsylvania sports betting apps ahead of the 2021/2022 NFL season points to the Eagles surpassing their win total (6.5) and making the playoffs.

The Eagles are scheduled to start training camp on July 27. With training camp for the Eagles and the rest of the NFL less than month away, let’s take a look at where bettors the early NFL futures money is going for the Eagles, DeVonta Smith props, ROY odds, NFC winners and Super Bowl LVI betting splits

Philadelphia Eagles win total and playoff prediction

The NFL regular season has been expanded to 17 games. The Eagles‘ extra game in 2021 is against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium. FanDuel bettors believe the Eagles will fly over their win total and into the playoffs.

Eagles Over/Under 6.5 Wins

  • 71% of handle and 67% of bet count on Over

Will Eagles Make the Playoffs?

  • 98% of handle and 92% of bet count on Yes

However, users at FanDuel have bet big on the Eagles’ NFC East rival, New York Giants. The Giants are the most-bet team in the season win totals market with 97% of the money on “over” 7 wins.

BetMGM bettors are optimistic it will be a season of improvement for the Eagles. At BetMGM, 67% of the handle is on the “over” for wins (6.5). For the Eagles to make the playoffs, 76% of tickets and 23% of handle on “Yes.”

At DraftKings sportsbook, 70% of the money is on the Eagles to win more than 6.5 games.

Buccaneers favored by bettors, Washington attracting interest

The NFC East was one of the worst divisions in the history of the NFL last year. Not one team in the division finished .500 and Washington took the division title with a 7-9 record. Despite the NFC East’s terrible 2020, bettors at FanDuel think that two teams in the division have a good chance of winning the NFC Championship in the 2021. Washington and the New York Giants lead the “NFC Championship Winner” market by handle. Washington and the Chicago Bears lead the market by bet count.

While the money so far is behind the Eagles making the playoffs, they do not even crack the Top Ten for percentage of handle to win the NFC Championship at DraftKings. The Eagles are +3000 to win the NFC title. Only the Detroit Lions (+6600) have worse odds.  The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (38% of the handle) and the Los Angeles Rams (12%) account for most of the money.

Philadelphia Eagles Week 1 betting lines

PA sports betting apps have betting lines available for 2021 NFL Week 1.

In Week 1, the Eagles are 3.5-point underdogs on the road versus the Atlanta Falcons. The Eagles are +160 on the moneyline and the total points is set at 47.5.

Yesterday, FanDuel released betting splits for NFL Week 1 games. The Falcons are getting 55% of the spread (-3.5) money and 69% of the ML handle. The majority of the early dollars (83%) is on the OVER (47,5).

Super Bowl LVI futures betting

Bettors think that Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will repeat. At FanDuel, the Buccaneers (+650) have 19% of the handle for Super Bowl LVI futures. Three teams each received 7% of the handle to win the Super Bowl – the Chiefs (+500), the Colts (+2500) and the Broncos (+3000).

It’s a slightly different story at DraftKings. The Chiefs (19%) have the highest percentage of handle for Super Bowl LVI futures followed by the Buccaneers (18%) and the Buffalo Bills (6%).

DeVonta Smith Rookie of the Year odds

The Philadelphia Eagles traded up in the 2021 NFL Draft and selected Alabama wide receiver DeVonta Smith with the No. 10 pick.

Nick Sirianni Coach of the Year odds

Betting on NFL Coach of the Year – or coach of the year in any sport – is not permitted at PA online sportsbooks.

However, it is available on New Jersey sports betting apps. The Eagles new head coach Nick Sirianni is a long shot for NFL Coach of the Year in 2021/2022. He is listed at +4000 and only three other head coaches have worse odds.
