BetMGM Pennsylvania will soon offer the first-ever online slot game endorsed by the National Hockey League, NHL Gold Blitz.
The slot, which features team names, official logos of NHL teams and the iconic NHL shield, is currently available only in New Jersey for online casino players. BetMGM has a contract with Digital Gaming Corporation’s B2B iGaming Division to launch the game soon for PA online casinos.

NHL Gold Blitz will be available for both iPhone and Android devices when it goes live in the PA market. It features a 6×4 video slot with 4,096 ways to win. Elements of the title include wild multiplier free spins, jackpot rewards, instant cash winners and more.
Oliver Bartlett, Vice-President of Gaming Product & Content for BetMGM, discussed the debut of NHL Gold Blitz in a recent press release. He said:

The game, which will be available soon for PA online casino players, is the latest effort by BetMGM Casino PA to bolster its offerings in the state. Earlier this year, BetMGM launched an expansive new ad campaign centered on pop star Vanessa Hudgens.

More new titles debut with BetMGM Casino PA
The NHL game for hockey slots isn’t the only new gaming content coming soon for Pennsylvania online players who favor BetMGM.
BetMGM PA is also launching additional Wheel of Fortune content in the coming year. The Wheel of Fortune brand is tremendously popular among casino players and only BetMGM will provide the titles.
BetMGM CEO, Adam Greenblatt, announced during the company’s recent investor day that more Wheel content is coming to the PA online casino. He said:
“In 2024, we plan to launch the brand in Ontario and Pennsylvania, and closely mirror the show’s own promotional calendar to create a truly differentiated iGaming experience and drive further engagement.”
This isn’t the first time BetMGM has rolled out products for online casino consumers that had an NHL flavor to them. A partnership with the gaming company Evolution resulted in NHL-branded casino games for blackjack, baccarat and roulette, as well as a live Money Wheel game called Dream Catcher.
Those NHL-branded titles are available now in Michigan, New Jersey, Ontario and Pennsylvania.
BetMGM remains among the top online casino options in PA and across other markets. The platform earned “Casino Operator of the Year” honors from multiple award shows and publications in 2023. New additions like NHL Gold Blitz should continue to bring in even more action.
