Is there any more magic left? The first round of the College Football Playoff on Saturday produced a pair of games for the ages. After an upset win over Michigan, No. 3 TCU (13-1) is only one game away from an improbable National Championship on Monday night.
However, No. 1 Georgia (14-0) is undefeated, the defending champion and a sizable favorite, so the Horned Frogs must perform well to pull off the monumental upset.
Most PA sportsbooks and betting apps have the Bulldogs giving 12.5 points. The game’s total is set at 62.5.
TV coverage will be broadcast on ESPN at 7:30 p.m. Any impartial fans are probably just hoping for another great game – and maybe just a little more CFP magic.
Let’s take a closer look at the betting lines and preview Monday’s National Championship.

The College Football Playoff National Championship features two quarterbacks who were invited to New York City for the Heisman Trophy presentation last month. TCU’s Max Duggan finished second, while Georgia’s Stetson Bennett placed fourth.
Both players will be key figures in Monday night’s contest.
Max Duggan, TCU: The dual-threat quarterback has 3,546 passing yards and 461 rushing yards on the season, with a total of 40 touchdowns. He will face a formidable defense on the other side. Georgia is giving up just 14.8 points per game.
Stetson Bennett, Georgia: Bennett led Georgia to a win over Alabama in the national title game last season and hopes for a repeat performance this year. He has 3,823 passing yards this season and threw a pair of key fourth quarter touchdowns against Ohio State in the semifinal.
Quentin Johnson, TCU: The Horned Frogs wideout has a knack for making big plays, averaging 18.1 yards per catch this year. He had six catches for 163 yards and a touchdown (a 76-yarder) against Michigan.
Brock Bowers, Georgia: Bennett’s favorite target is the sophomore tight end, who had 56 receptions and six touchdowns this season. He converted a key fourth down for the Bulldogs in their comeback win vs. the Buckeyes.
