Mohegan Pennsylvania announced a new omnichannel rewards program, involving Momentum Dollars, which is expected to set fully set up by early 2025.
Mohegan told PlayPennsylvania on Wednesday that Momentum Dollars is live for the retail location in Wilkes-Barre. Customers will be able to link the rewards program to the Mohegan Sun Online Casino app within the first few months of next year.
Mohegan is one of a select group of properties in the Keystone State that is able to offer rewards between its physical location and through its Pennsylvania online casino.
How to retrieve a Momentum Rewards card
Mohegan players in Pennsylvania interested in the new program must get a Momentum card from a Player’s Club booth at the casino. From there, Mohegan lays out the new steps to activate the card:
- Go MyMoheganSun.com and tap log in.
- Enter your Momentum username. If you forgot your username, use the ‘Forgot your username’ link. If you don’t have a username, use the ‘Sign up’ link to create one.
- Tap Continue.
- Choose an authentication method.
- Tap Continue.
The second part of the linking is slated to go live in 2025, according to Mohegan. Once it does, customers can link the card to the online gambling site by following these steps:
- Go to the Mohegan Sun online casino and tap Account.
- Tap Momentum.
- Enter your Momentum username (the same one you use for MyMoheganSun.com).
The accounts will be automatically linked after the second step.
What players can earn from redeeming Momentum Dollars
Mohegan Pennsylvania casino-goers can start earning Status Points, which are turned into Momentum Dollars when redeeming rewards.
Status Points are earned by using the Momentum rewards card at Mohegan’s facility. Soon, customers are going to be able to earn points online, too. Here’s how Mohegan describes Status Points:
“Status Points are earned through gaming and determine your Momentum Status Level. They also help earn Achievement Awards. Guests in select Momentum Status Levels enjoy access to the VIP Lounges, priority access at the Player’s Club Booths, Play+ Event Center and Hotel check-in.”
In addition to those perks, customers can also spend Momentum Dollars on the following offerings:
- Overnight stays
- Dining
- Spa treatments
- Golf
- Concert tickets
- Shopping
The operator does not have an exact timeline for the omnichannel rewards program in the Keystone State. Early 2025 indicates anytime in the first quarter.
What Mohegan Sun online casino app offers
Mohegan decided to launch its own iGaming platform after former partner, Unibet, exited Pennsylvania earlier this year. It took roughly three months for the operator to go live with the app, which did so in late April.
