The Nov. 26 Mega Millions drawing is now history and once again, nobody won the jackpot. But sooner or later, some lucky person will, and if Tuesday, Nov. 30 is the day it happens, the winner will collect an estimated $102 million.
That’s with the annuity option. Alternatively, the recipient can accept the lesser amount of $78.3 million as a lump sum cashout option.
Mega Millions Winning Numbers for Tuesday, November 30, 2021
Mega Millions lottery drawings take place every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. ET.
The winning numbers for the Tues., Nov. 30 drawing are as follows:
Winning numbers: 7 – 8 – 26 – 30 – 39
Mega Ball: 17
Megaplier: 2x
Were there any big winners in the Friday, Nov. 26 drawing?
In order to win the top prize in any of the Mega Millions lottery drawings, the player has to pick all six numbers, including the Mega Ball number, correctly. Because no one accomplished that feat last Friday, that drawing’s top prize of $94 million went unclaimed.
However, that didn’t mean there weren’t other big winners. The biggest winner of the night was a player in Michigan who correctly picked five of the six numbers – all but the gold Mega Ball. The lucky MI player spent the extra $1 for the Megaplier option and, as a result, doubled the regular million-dollar payout to $2 million!
How long has it been since anyone won the Mega Millions jackpot?
Not that long. On October 22, just over a month ago, a family in Lake Havasu, AZ won the top prize of $108 million. The winners chose the lump sum option, amounting to $75.2 million (before taxes).
