In that time, the jackpot has grown to the current estimated sum of $301 million for Sept. 23. The lump sum cash value of tonight’s prize is $160.3 million, before withholding.

Mega Millions awarded two $1 million prizes this week
While there was no jackpot winner in the Tuesday drawing this week, a couple players hit it big. Two tickets hit the $1 million prize by matching the first five numbers drawn, but not the Mega Ball. Those two winning tickets were sold in New York and Virginia. With the 5x Megaplier that was drawn on Tuesday, those prizes could have been multiplied to $5 million, if those players had bought their tickets with the $1 ticket option.
Alas, no tickets with Megaplier hit the second-tier prize on Tuesday. However, 15 other players across the country hit the next biggest win with the Megaplier option on their tickets. Those lucky winners had their $10,000 prize multiplied to $50,000. The largest Mega Millions prize won in Pennsylvania on Tuesday was $2,500, hit by three tickets. Those tickets matched four of the five white balls, with the Megaplier option.
