Another big Mega Millions drawing kicks off the weekend tonight, and we’ve already seen some great prizes awarded this week. The jackpot has racked up a total of $169 million for the Sept. 2 drawing. A winner tonight, or in any drawing, can choose to take the cash value of the prize in a single payment. The lump sum cash value tonight is $95.4 million before withholding.
Tuesday’s big winners included two players who matched the first five white balls drawn, just missing the Mega Ball. One of those players, in Texas, took advantage of the Megaplier when buying their ticket and took home a prize of $3 million.
The other lucky player bought their ticket in Oklahoma, and hit the prize without the Megaplier. That player scored $1 million.

PA Lottery players keep on winning
Just yesterday, on Sept. 1, the PA Lottery Match 6 Lotto drawing produced another jackpot winner. A ticket sold in Bucks County won the $1.3 million prize.
Fine Wine and Good Spirits, located at 306 Easton Road in Warrington, sold that winning ticket. If that’s your local haunt, be sure to check your tickets. Winners aren’t known until they claim their prize and have their ticket validated by the lottery. The retailer gets a $10,000 bonus for selling the big winner.
The Match 6 jackpot topped $1 million less than a month ago, on Aug. 9, as well. A ticket sold in Bedford County nabbed that top prize, which reached $1.4 million for that lucky winner.
