Buckle up, folks. The Mega Millions jackpot is taking off, and it’s going to be a major life-changer for whoever hits it, whenever that may be. For the June 5 drawing, it is up to $378 million, which equates to $297.6 million for taking the cash option.

All you have to do to get your paws on that dough? Match all six numbers in Friday’s drawing. The odds of doing so? One in 302,575,350. But hey, it happens.

For those residing in or passing through Pennsylvania, Mega Millions and Powerball tickets are now available online. You can sign up to the PA online lottery for free here. And even receive a free $20 and a deposit bonus up to $250.

Recent lotto winners, 14th largest jackpot

The winning numbers on June 2 were 9 – 20 – 23 – 26 – 29 and a megaball of 8 with a megaplier of 3x.

Tuesday’s drawing had three lucky million-dollar winners who matched all five white balls. Those tickets were sold in California, Florida, and Ohio. None of them had purchased the $1 megaplier, which would have tripled the winnings to $3 million!

With the new temporary lottery rules, the jackpot will reset to $20 million instead of $40 million once it hits. There is also no guaranteed minimum roll amount between drawings, but that is not stopping the jackpot from going absolutely bananas.

The current jackpot is the largest since June of 2019, and the 14th largest in the game’s history.
