A historic Mega Millions jackpot may have just hit, but that does not mean that interest has waned.
Tuesday, Feb. 2 has a Mega Millions estimated jackpot of $42 million with a one-time cash payout value of $31 million. All in all, quite a big jump in jackpot sizes, considering the last drawing’s jackpot was $25 million.

Another big Michigan winner
As if it was not enough that a lucky Michigan lottery ticket won the historic $1 billion Mega Millions jackpot recently, another Michigan winner emerged from the past drawing.
Although the prize was far from $1 billion, the previous Mega Millions drawing yielded a Match 5 winner with a prize worth $1 million.
As a recap, Friday, Jan. 29 winning numbers were 4 – 44 – 58 – 59 – 70 and a gold Mega Ball of 3. The lucky ticket matched all five white balls but missed the gold Mega Ball to scoop the whole jackpot.
