Today’s Mega Millions drawing has a jackpot prize of $421 million, after Tuesday’s drawing produced no Top Prize winner. The lump sum cash value for today’s jackpot on Jan. 28 is $290.9 million before withholding.

There were a couple second-tier winners in Tuesday’s drawing. A ticket sold in TX matched the first five balls, but not the Mega Ball, winning a prize of $1 million. In RI, another player matched the first five numbers to win the Megaplier prize of $3 million.

The Megaplier is a ticket option that costs an extra $1. When added to a ticket, any prizes other than the jackpot are multiplied by the Megaplier number drawn, up to 10x.

Check your Mega Millions numbers here every Tuesday and Friday after the drawing at 11:00 p.m. EST.

Bucks County continues its lucky streak

The PA Lottery announced yet another big winner in Bucks County today, this time on the Cash 5 with Quick Cash draw game. A ticket sold at Five Brothers Produce Market in Bristol matched all five numbers drawn (5 – 7 – 12 – 20 – 42) to win the Grand Prize of $1.85 million. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Other recent winners in the county included a Powerball ticket that hit a $2 million prize on Jan. 20, and the first $5 million Top Prize won on the $5 Million Money Maker Scratch-Off on Jan. 25.

Cash 5 with Quick Cash is the PA Lottery game that works like Mega Millions, except there are only five numbers to match. Another difference is that drawings are held daily. The jackpot continues to grow each day until a ticket matches all five numbers drawn. All prizes are paid out as a lump sum. Quick Cash is an additional ticket that prints out with your Cash 5 ticket, and offers a chance to instantly win a prize from $2-6.

The winning Cash 5 numbers and prize amounts are posted daily on the PA Lottery site.
