The Mega Millions jackpot got another boost for tonight’s drawing after no one hit the big prize on Tuesday. For Aug. 19, the Mega Millions top prize is estimated at $99 million. As always, a winner could choose to take the lump sum cash value of the prize in a single payment. That lump sum prize would be $56.5 million tonight, before federal and state withholding.
One ticket from Tuesday’s drawing is now worth $1 million, after a player in Nebraska hit all five of the white balls, missing only the gold Mega Ball.
In Pennsylvania, more than 14,000 tickets won prizes ranging from $2 to $1,000 on Tuesday.
