Live! Casino Philadelphia is now listed as a Sharecare Health Security property in the Forbes Travel Guide. The parent company for Live!, Cordish, has a second casino in Hanover, Maryland, which also earned the honor.
The list is select, with just ten casino-hotels in the nation and only three other hotels in PA recognized.
Live! verification comes with a Forbes seal of approval
Verification assures that guests and travel planners can book at properties with health and safety procedures in place. The verification comes with an easily identifiable seal of approval – a Sharecare VERIFIED Forbes Travel Guide badge.
Earning the badge depends on a hotel’s compliance with validated best practices meant to minimize both the risks and impacts of COVID-19 and potential future health risks.
Play It Safe plan
Rob Norton, President of Cordish Gaming Group, said the company’s Play It Safe plan led to the designation of its properties.
He explained:
“Our comprehensive Play It Safe plan with best practices provided by the Centers for Disease Control, John Hopkins University School of Public Health and guidelines from the States of Maryland and Pennsylvania has enabled us to be leaders in the industry on health and safety.
“We’re proud to be verified by such a prestigious organization. We continue to stay vigilant at all our locations to meet and exceed COVID-19 safety guidelines.”
Live! must continually verify it meets standards
The comprehensive verification covers more than 360 standards. Included are health and hygiene protocols, cleaning products, sanitizing procedures, ventilation, physical distancing, the guest experience, and health safety communication.
Hotels must also verify their health protocols on an ongoing basis.

A scan of the patron reviews at the new facility shows customers have noticed Live!’s upkeep and safety measures.
