Live! Casino Pittsburgh Opening a Poker Room Soon

What a nice early birthday present. Live! Casino Pittsburgh is opening a new poker room.

The Pennsylvania casino in Westmoreland County, PA opened in late November 2020. In a Nov. 8 email press release, Live! Casino Pittsburgh announced that it will open a new poker roomwith seven tables by early 2022 pending regulatory approval.

Live! Casino Pittsburgh, a mini-casino, currently has:

750 slot machines
30 table games
A FanDuel Sportsbook
Dining options include Sports and Social Steel City, Guy’s American Kitchen + Bar, and PBR Pittsburgh

The poker room at Live! Casino Pittsburgh will be 1,400 sq. ft. and have seven tables. Sean Sullivan, general manager of Live! Casino Pittsburgh, commented:

The addition of the poker room to the mini-casino will add about 25 jobs. Live! Casino Pittsburgh is hosting a poker dealer school. Classes are conducted by experienced, licensed instructors during a six-week period, Monday through Friday from either 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or from 6–10 p.m. Participants can earn an interview for full-time employment immediately after completion of the school.
