Eagles home games
Live! Casino Philadelphia is hosting a pregame tailgate block party for every Philadelphia Eagles home game.
Free tailgate at Live! Casino Philadelphia
- Located outside the Darien Street exit and starting three hours before kickoff and lasting through the first quarter
- The block party will feature food trucks, full-service bars, DJs, giveaways, special appearances from home team alumni, and more.
- On the casino floor, over $30,000 in prizes will be given away including game tickets, merchandise, Live! apparel, and free slot play.
- There will be a 2-hour post-game after party with Q102 featuring local radio DJ and host personalities.
Phans of Philly tailgate
Phans of Philly plans travel packages (like trips to Vegas to see the Eagles play the Raiders) and tailgates. They partnered with Live! Casino and are holding in the valet parking lot before every Philadelphia Eagles home game. The Phans of Philly tailgate is $60 per person and includes a 3 hour open bar and buffet. For reference, if you were to go to the Eagles game and park in a lot, it’s at least $40, so the Phans of Philly tailgate is worth considering.
Philadelphia Eagles away games
Just because the Birds aren’t at home doesn’t mean that Live! is taking a bye week.
Unlike your living room but #fancavegoals, Sports & Social Philly has a 52-foot LED display and 24 big screen TVs.
The first 50 fans to arrive for an Eagles away game will get a free beer and a gift. Also during Eagles away games, there will be green-themed cocktails and a chance to win tickets to the next home game.
Mario Maesano, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Live! Casino Philadelphia, commented:
“We’re thrilled to celebrate our first Philadelphia football season here in the Stadium District – just steps away from all the exciting game-day action. The atmosphere that Live! provides to Philadelphia sports fans is unmatched. We can’t wait to welcome guests to our tailgate block party celebrations and cheer on the home team with them.”
Traffic and parking tips for Eagles game days
This Sunday will be 624 days since the last time nearly 70,000 fans jammed South Philadelphia for an Eagles game. It’s been a while since most of us have endured game day traffic, so we thought we’d help fans with tips to navigate their way in and out of the lots.
Not tailgating and want a Hail Mary at a quick exit: If quick in-and-out is your strategy we recommend parking in the Phillies lots to the north and west of Citizens Bank Park. It provides ample parking with multiple ways in and out to Broad Street, Pattison and Packer Aves. Tailgating is not permitted in these lots, but small clusters of fans tend to gather along traffic islands. Use 76 or Packer Avenue to avoid traffic closest to the Linc.
Don’t mind walking a bit: Need to work off the calories consumed during the game? Consider the lots near the NovaCare Complex or parking inside FDR Park. It’s a hike walking through the lots to enter the stadium but traffic will be reduced when it’s time to pack up and leave. Traffic from Delco should use the Platt Bridge and turn right onto Pattison. 76 East use Exit 347A toward Penrose Ave. Turn left onto Penrose and first right onto Pattison. Jersey drivers, use Exit 348 onto Penrose and turn Left onto Pattison.
Skip the traffic and ride the subway: Sitting in traffic even after a win can be frustrating. Avoid the hassle altogether by taking the SEPTA Broad Street Line to NRG Station. SEPTA operates their Sports Express as well as local trains every 10 minutes from Fern Rock (10:10am-12:20pm). Fans leaving NRG Station this Sunday between 3-7 p.m. will ride the Broad Street Line for free courtesy of NRG. For more information visit septa.org/events.
