Pennsylvania online casinos rebounded in a huge way last month. After a slower January, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) reported that operators produced $215.3 million in February online casino revenue, which is an all-time US record. It broke December’s mark of $204.2 million in revenue.

PA online casino revenue recorded a 32.7% year-over-year increase and an 13.7% month-over-over increase.

PlayPennsylvania Managing Editor, Dave Briggs, said:

“Online casino revenue in Pennsylvania was off the charts in February. Not only was total revenue of more than $215 million an all-time best, it smashed the previous record by more than $11 million.

“Pennsylvania continues to show incredible growth in online casino revenue and that’s a great thing for residents of the Keystone State. Total taxes collected from online casinos in February alone reached nearly $77 million. That money stays in Pennsylvania to support the citizens of Pennsylvania and helps fund problem gambling resources.”

Quick analysis from February PA online casino figures

  • For the fourth time in six months, PA online casinos broke another US record. To the Keystone State’s standards, operators had a slow January, generating just $189.3 million in revenue. February shows that the state is setting a new bar almost every month. Not to mention, February is the shortest month of the year and shattered December’s record by over $11 million.
  • While the sample size isn’t too large, online casinos are averaging $202.3 million in revenue a month. Should the state keep up that pace, it’ll surpass $2.4 billion in yearly earnings. In 2023, platforms produced $2.1 billion in revenue.
  • Bally Casino PA recorded the best month it ever had in February. The operator produced nearly $4 million in earnings, which is a step up from January’s $3.4 million total. It’s only a matter of time before Bally’s is consistently hitting $4 million a month, and competing with operators such as Golden Nugget online casino PA and PlayLive! Casino PA.
