It’s something of a grudge match.
The Green Bay Packers face the San Francisco 49ers Thursday night in a rematch of the NFC Championship game. In last year’s playoffs, the 49ers ran roughshod over the Packers, rushing for 285 yards and earning a Super Bowl berth with a 37-20 victory.
So it’s a revenge game for Green Bay.
And thanks to FanDuel Sportsbook, new users can choose either side of it with 100-1 odds in a big-time Thursday Night Football promotion.
Let’s take a quick look at Thursday night’s game along with all the NFL odds and incentives available at some top PA sports betting apps.
Green Bay is favored over a banged-up 49ers team
Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers grew up in Northern California and will be returning home for Thursday night’s game. His team is a 7-point favorite over a Niners squad that will be missing quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, standout tight end George Kittle and a few others (receivers Brandon Aiyuk, Deebo Samuel and offensive tackle Trent Williams) on Thursday night due to COVID-19 protocols.
On the moneyline, Green Bay is -295, and the spread is currently -6.5 at FanDuel Sportsbook. (Other books have GB at -7.)
Big-time promotion pushes odds to 100-1 for either team
But even with the bigger spread, the FanDuel promotion for new users could push the odds to 100-1 for the Packers. Or, if you happen to like the Niners, you can grab those same odds on their side. Here’s the fine print:
