The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) awarded EveryMatrix, a technology and content provider, “interim authorization” to bring its services to the Keystone State.
EveryMatrix already formed a partnership with one operator and plans to work with multiple others within the PA online casino market.
EveryMatrix permitted to enter Keystone State online casino market
The company received regulatory approval in New Jersey, Michigan, West Virginia, Connecticut and Ontario. It can finally add Pennsylvania to the list, too. Though interim authorization does not mean it’s been granted a license, EveryMatrix is able to enter the Pennsylvania market.
PGCB Deputy Director of Communications, Richard McGarvey, explained to PlayPennsylvania what interim authorization entails:
“Basically, it means they still need to have a full background investigation complete before they get a license. The interim authorization means the PGCB has conducted an initial investigation and has not found any problems and they can proceed as if they have a license.”
According to McGarvey, interim authorization is granted for a year while the full background investigation is conducted.
The company got the ball rolling in advance, partnering with betPARX Casino PA. The two sides announced the deal back in October of last year.
It had been EveryMatrix’s vision to be able to gain access to the most important gaming states, especially with online casinos. Erik Nyman, President of EveryMatrix Americas, explained in a press release:
“EveryMatrix’s goal has been to obtain direct partnerships with leading operators and to ensure full market access. With regulatory approval in Pennsylvania we have obtained just that.”
EveryMatrix has a rich portfolio of games that spans 22,500 slot titles for players in Pennsylvania.

EveryMatrix to work with multiple Keystone State online casino operators
BetPARX is one of several operators EveryMatrix plans to work with. According to the press release, the company is targeting the following platforms:
All of these online casinos are easily considered some of the most successful in the market. DraftKings and BetMGM are each partnered with Hollywood Penn National, along with Hollywood Casino PA and Fanatics. Together, the four operators produced $855.4 million in 2023 revenue, which led all licensees.
The PGCB does not break down revenue by operator, so it’s difficult to see what exactly each platform contributes.
BetRivers, along with Borgata Casino PA and PlaySugarHouse Casino PA, in partnership with Rivers Casino Philadelphia, finished third, generating $416.6 million in yearly revenue.
EveryMatrix will be operating in the most robust market in the country. The Keystone State generated a record of $2.1 billion in 2023 earnings and set a monthly best last December, reporting $204.2 million in revenue.
Nyman added what EveryMatrix is going to bring to Pennsylvania:
“We will continue to roll out our games portfolio and aggregation services to fill both the content gap while also adding rich bonus and gamification features that will be completely new to the US market.”
Pennsylvania is going to be a great landing spot for EveryMatrix.
