DraftKings Promo Offers $250 for $5 If Big-Swinging Bryson Earns Top 5 Finish

DraftKings Boosting Bryson DeChambeau Odds

He has the biggest swing in golf.

And he’s quickly becoming the biggest name too.

Bryson DeChambeau is known for his behemoth drives, having just launched a 377-yard monster last week at Bay Hill’s sixth hole. This week, he’s the second favorite for The Player’s Championship at TPC Sawgrass, which begins on Thursday morning.

And thanks to DraftKings Sportsbook PA, new users can get $250 on a $5 bet if DeChambeau finishes in the top five.

Last week, DeChambeau, who has a sponsorship deal with DraftKings, won the Arnold Palmer Invitational with a little help from his massive drive Sunday on No. 6. He finished 11-under par for a one-shot victory over Lee Westwood

DJ remains ahead of DeChambeau in Players Championship odds

This week, DeChambeau will have to contend with the tournament favorite, Dustin Johnson, who has a price of +1200 at DraftKings. DeChambeau is +1500.

And a DraftKings promotion for new users has the potential to bring an even bigger return if DeChambeau has a top-5 finish. Here’s the fine print:

Rahm, Rory also present in the TPC’s top five favorites

In addition to DeChambeau and DJ, Jon Rahm and Rory McIlroy are also among the top five favorites in odds for The Players Championship. Rahm is tied with DeChambeau at +1500, while McIlroy (who won the tournament when it was last played in 2019) is +1600. Collin Morikawa, Xander Shauffele, and Justin Thomas are all tied for fifth place at +2000.

The rest of the top 15 and their moneyline prices at DraftKings are as follows:

  • Patrick Cantlay: +2200
  • Tony Finau: +2200
  • Webb Simpson: +2200
  • Viktor Hovland: +2800
  •  Jordan Spieth: +3000
  • Daniel Berger: +3300
  • Tyrrell Hatton: +3500
  • Paul Casey/Hideki Matsuyama/Patrick Reed: +4000

Pricing is available on the entire field if you’re interested in golfers with even longer odds. There are also prices posted for finishes in the top 20, top 30, and top 40 as well. And wagers are also available on round betting, matchups, and prop bets, including whether players will record an eagle in specific rounds, or whether they will make/miss the cut.

DraftKings will also crown a DFS golf millionaire this weekend

Daily fantasy players will also have some massive contests to choose from during The Players Championship. DraftKings is hosting a Fantasy Golf Millionaire that has a $2.5 million prize pool and a first place-payout of $1 million bucks. Meanwhile, the $5 Drive the Green contest has a $400,000 prize pool and a top prize of $100k.

And over at FanDuel, there’s a $7.77 entry PGA Eagle contest that pays out $300,000 in total prizes, including six-figures to first place.

So golf betting has plenty of sizzle as the season approaches the Master’s Tournament looming a month away. The action begins Thursday morning, with television coverage split between the Golf Channel and NBC (Saturday and Sunday).

And there are some big names among the tournament favorites, giving everyone plenty of reasons to watch.

But the biggest draw might be Bryson, the high-profile golfer who hits the behemoth drives. And just might bring a big DraftKings return too.
