Lakers favored in Monday’s nationally televised matchup
At press time, the Lakers were 5-point favorites at DraftKings Sportsbook in Monday night’s game, which will be televised nationally on TNT. Los Angeles is -210 on the moneyline, while Denver returns +175. The over/under is set at 221.
Players will also want to keep an eye on the injury report before making their bets. Point guard Jamal Murray returned in the last game for Denver, but the Nuggets are still without Gary Harris and Will Barton.
The Lakers have listed Kentavious Caldwell-Pope as out. Danny Green, Dwight Howard, Anthony Davis and Lebron James are game-time decisions, but the last three are likely to play.
On Saturday, Los Angeles lost its last game to Indiana (116-111), while Denver defeated the Jazz (134-132) in double overtime.
In addition to the promotion, there are a number of daily fantasy contests posted for today’s NBA games at both DraftKings and FanDuel. So players will have plenty of chances for some Monday night action.
Philadelphia Sixers face red-hot Suns tomorrow
The next Philadelphia 76ers game is tomorrow against a Phoenix Suns team that has only lost one game during the NBA’s restart. And the Sixers injury status may be even more daunting than their upcoming opponent. According to ESPN, Joel Embiid‘s status for the game is uncertain after he injured his ankle in yesterday’s 124-121 loss to the Trailblazers and did not return.
In addition, Ben Simmons has left the NBA’s bubble for knee surgery and is expected to miss the rest of the season.
So things are looking a little bleak for the 76ers heading into their last three games (Toronto and Houston follow Phoenix) before the playoffs begin. But that also creates some opportunities as far as futures are concerned. Philadelphia is currently 50-1 to win the NBA title and 25-1 to win the Eastern Conference at DraftKings Sportsbook.
Odds for tomorrow’s game should be available at Pennsylvania sportsbooks once Embiid’s status is clarified. And make sure to check out PlayPennsylvania‘s rundown of the Sixers recent games, along with their odds and performance against the spread. It should help you make a more informed decision in the games ahead.
