According to the figures released by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, PA online casinos reached $166.9 million in gross revenue in December.
Another record-breaking performance beat out November’s mark of $155.9 million and sets a new all-time record again for any online casino market in the US. This helped the state reach its best calendar year ever in terms of overall PA gaming revenue, hitting over $5.2 billion, up nearly $500 million from 2021.
“This now marks the third consecutive month that PA casinos have set a new national record, taking the lifetime tax revenue above $1.1 billion, more than any other state,” Chris Imperiale, Managing Editor of PlayPennsylvania said. “This new all-time high for PA online casinos also propelled the state to its best overall gaming revenue for a single month with $475 million, an increase of nearly 17% year-over-year.”
