Pennsylvania casinos in the Philadelphia area are gearing up for the Phillies home opener. Phillies fans have a chance to meet former World Series champion manager Charlie Manuel at Live! Casino Philadelphia.
The Phillies host the Cincinnati Reds on Thursday, April 6, at 3 p.m. after spending the first six games of the season on the road.

Meet Charlie Manuel at Live! Casino Philadelphia
Live! Casino Philadelphia is hosting The Ultimate Opening Day Tailgate just outside of the casino’s doors. Former World Series-winning manager Charlie Manuel will be on-hand making a special appearance.
Tickets for the tailgate cost $125, but you’re getting quality bang for your buck. Other surprise guests are attending the tailgate and the ticket includes all inclusive food and drink. Food items include:
- Philly cheesesteaks
- Crispy chicken sandwiches with spicy aioli sauce
- Live! hot dogs
- BBQ pulled pork sandwiches
- Crinkle cut ranch fries
- Philly pretzel board
- Vegetable pasta salad
- Cracker Jacks
Drinks included:
- Liquor
- Beer
- Red and white wine
- Soft drinks and juices
Kids 12 and under can participate in the tailgate for free, but cannot enter the casino.
The tailgate is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and fans who buy the Ticket + Tailgate Package for $199 can head into the game after the tailgate. Seats are located in the 400 level on the first base side.
Fans are also treated to live music courtesy of DJ Erock.

Fans without children who don’t have tickets to the game are welcome to watch the home opener at Sports & Social Philly, featuring the FanDuel PA Sportsbook and Lounge inside Live! Casino Philadelphia.
The casino is celebrating the home opener with $5 Budweisers and $8 specialty cocktails inspired by everyone’s favorite Phillies players:
