New Year’s Eve Planning Guide For Pennsylvania and Atlantic City Casinos

If you are the planner of the group, start the group text now. Space is filling up and rooms are booking fast. If you decide to stay home on New Year’s Eve, there are still ways to gamble right on your couch at PA online casinos.

Here’s a guide to what’s happening at some Pennsylvania and Atlantic City casinos on New Year’s Eve.

Rivers Casino Philadelphia starts the NYE party on Dec. 30

Rivers Casino Philadelphia is welcoming in 2022 with events spread over a few days. It starts on Dec. 30 with Gloria Gaynor leading a 70’s-themed Studio 2022 disco New Year’s eve concert. On Jan 2, ABBA and Bee Gee tribute bands take the stage. Tickets to both events are on sale on Rivers Casino Philadelphia’s website.

Rivers Casino Philadelphia New Years Eve party

When: Dec. 31, from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Where: The Event Center

This is a two-tiered ticketed event. Let’s Groove Tonight, an Earth, Wind & Fire tribute band, will perform and guests can feast on an open bar, food stations and more for $99. A $149 ticket gets you exclusive access to the balcony for prime views for the midnight fireworks show.

Rivers Casino Philadelphia will be sponsoring two fireworks shows at 6 p.m. and midnight in partnership with the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation. The displayed can be viewed along Delaware River, the casino and the Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest.

Other NYE and New Year’s Day events at Rivers Philadelphia

On New Year’s Eve weekend, Jack’s Bar + Grill is opening a new lounge with a stage, spacious dance floor, extra seating for great stage views.

Jack’s Bar + Grill live music lineup 

  • The Priceless Band — Thursday, Dec. 30 (all shows start at 9 p.m.)
  • All SOULed Out — Friday, Dec. 31.
  • Coast 2 Coast — Saturday, Jan. 1.

Hugo’s Frog Bar & Chop House is serving up a New Year’s Eve dinner-for-two special Dec. 30-Jan. 1. The dinner will include three  courses, a champagne toast and dessert for $175. Tax and gratuity are not included. Live music will be featured from 7 to 11 p.m.

$20,000 New Year’s Day Drawing 

Start out the New Year a little bit richer. Guests can earn sweepstakes entries from Dec. 1 through Jan. 1, at 5 p.m. and will have 10 chances to win $2,022 in cash. Guests can play their favorite slots and table games using their Rush Rewards card to earn entries, and that includes two-time entries on Tuesdays in December and five-time entries on Dec. 24, and Dec. 25. Winners will be drawn at 6 p.m.

New Year’s Eve at Live! Casino Philadelphia

Live! Casino Philadelphia has a wide range of ways for guest to welcome in 2022. The gaming floor will also be a celebration space with party favors (while supplies last), a countdown to midnight and live viewing of the Times Square Ball Drop. Starting at 6 a.m. on Dec. 31, all Live! rewards members are eligible to start earning entries for drawings between 4:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. -2:00 a.m. to win a share of $25,000 in cash and prizes.

  • NYE Red & White Gala at the Live! Event Center: The new event center at Live! hosts a dinner buffet, open bar and the party band, Don’t Call Me Francis. Tickets for reserved seating are $500 per person, two tickets minimum, and can be purchased at
  • Sports & Social: Go back to the future with an 80’s themed party at Sports & Social at Live! Philadelphia. The totally rad party will have a live cover band and DJ, open bar, buffet, party favors, roaming photo booth, live broadcast of the New York City ball drop on an expansive 52 ft. LED wall and a champagne toast at midnight. Tickets start at $89 and can be purchased at
  • The Prime Rib: Recently recognized as one of the Top 3 Best Casino Restaurants in the country by USA Today’s Readers Choice, The Prime Rib is an easy answer for “what do you want to do for dinner on New Year’s Eve?” They will have a la carte and prix fixe menu options, live music all night and a special champagne toast. Reservations are recommended.
  • Luk Fu: ‘Singing and sushi for NYE. In addition an Asian fusion menu, guests at Luk Fu can enjoy crafted cocktails and sake selections, party favors, a champagne toast, roaming photo both and private karaoke rooms. Reservations are recommended.

Wind Creek Casino New Year’s Eve

Wind Creek Casino is hosting a New Year’s Eve party at their event center. It’s $30 at the door and has DJ N9NE, dancers from Optic Artistry Entertainment and balloon drop at midnight.  A limited number of bottle service reservations are available.

Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course

At the H Lounge at Hollywood Casino there will be live music from Smooth Like Clyde, Party Favors, Midnight Countdown, party favors and a balloon drop.

When you play with your with your mychoice card to be eligible to get in the Show Me the Money! Cash Cube to win up to $1,000 free slot play.

End the year a winner with New Year’s Eve hot seat. From 9 p.m. – 12: 30 a.m on Dec. 31 there will be winners every 30 minutes based on your tier level

Hollywood Casino Morgantown

New year, new casino. Hollywood Casino Morgantown is opening on Dec. 22. The mini-casino will have a Barstool Sportsbook.

New Year’s Eve at other PA casinos

  • Mohegan Sun Pocono: Louis Ramey with Chris Coccia and Sergio Marzitelli at Wise Crackers Comedy Club. Show starts at 10 p.m.
  • Parx: Bands bands Sidearm and Fish Out of water with DJ Tonka at 360 start at 7 p.m.

Hard Rock Casino

  • Chicago is coming to Atlantic City and will (likely) be performing “You’re the Inspiration” and “25 or 6 to 4.”


  • New Year’s Eve with Jerry Blavat featuring The Legendary Blue Notes. Dinner and a show hosted by Hall of Fame DJ, Jerry Blavat. Tickets are $150 per person and include prime rib dinner, dancing, open bar and champagne toast at midnight.

Ocean Casino

    • Nola’s Bar and Lounge: 3AM Tokyo at 11 p.m.
    • Villain and Saint: John McNutt at 9: 15 p.m.
