A new, but familiar name is joining the Pennsylvania iGaming scene. Borgata online casino is planning to test launch its online casino in Pennsylvania sometime next week. Sources and the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board confirmed the pending arrival.
Borgata online casino coming to PA
Borgata online casino is in partnership with Rivers Casino Philadelphia. While land-based casinos in PA can have up to three online casino skins, they can only have one online sportsbook per license. With Rivers’ taken by the BetRivers app, a Borgata online sports betting app would have to launch under another operator. It is unclear as of now when or if that will happen.
BetMGM, a sister brand of Borgata, came to PA in Dec. 2020 and partnered with Hollywood Casino Morgantown.
