Live! Casino Philadelphia’s strong October revenue
Live! Casino Philadelphia is one of nine casinos that produced at least $10 million in October slot revenue. Parx Casino Bensalem easily paced the field with $30.3 million in earnings. Live! Casino Philadelphia finished eighth behind Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course, recording $11.2 million.
The South Philadelphia casino has improved from last year’s early fall totals. In September and October 2022, the facility generated $10.7 and $10.6 million in slot revenue, respectively. This year, the casino has put together back-to-back months of $11+ million in profits from slots.
In addition to strong slot revenue figures in October, Live! Casino Philadelphia also had a robust retail sports betting month. Despite coming up one game short of the World Series, the Phillies’ deep postseason run, coupled with another strong Eagles start, made Live! Casino Philadelphia pretty busy in October. The location posted $8.7 million in retail handle last month.
Had the Phillies reached the World Series, Live! Philly would have come much closer to last October’s handle of $10 million, which set a retail handle record in the state.
Live! Casino Philadelphia’s most successful month during FY 2022/2023 came in March when it posted $13.1 million in slot earnings.
The casino intends to build on the success it’s generated since opening in January 2021.
